Workplace Diversity Directory

search_buttonThe Workplace Diversity Directory (WDD) is a searchable online tool developed specifically to help the Canadian food retail/wholesale industry connect with job seekers from among Aboriginals, immigrants, persons with disabilities, older workers, and women seeking management careers.

Most of the service provider organizations in the WDD focus on providing employment services that support job seekers and/or employers—for example, training, job searching/posting, wage subsidies, matching candidates to job specifications etc. Some of these organizations provide only one or two such services while others provide a variety.

Other organizations included in the WDD focus on providing financial support to job seekers and/or employer organizations. These funding programs are designed to help reduce the barriers to employment that are faced by some groups.

How to use the Workplace Diversity Directory?

You can use the Workplace Diversity Directory to search for providers of employment services or funding programs that serve the province, territory and municipalities where you operate.

The results of your WDD search will include a brief description of each organization or program available in that area, and other information to help you decide if it fits your own particular needs. A telephone number, email and Website address are provided, when available, so that you can follow up directly for more detailed information.
